Waves of Winter
It has been a windy, wild, and frigid few days in Cape Breton's Victoria County. With the windchill, temperatures have plummeted to -20 C
and colder and drifting snow has been a constant. The wind and snow have
created some unique snow drifts, resembling a winter wave!

Brief glimpse of spring
Heavy rain followed by a fairly mild day made for a reappearance of blue waters over the mostly frozen Nyanza Bay in Cape Breton on Wednesday, Feb. 5. It won't last long - the temperature is expected to drop to -9 C tonight, with a wind chill of -17 C!
